CHEWY GINGERSNAP COOKIES

Ingredients
  

  • 1 CUP SUGAR
  • 3/4 CUP VEGETABLE OIL
  • 1 EGG
  • 1/4 CUP MOLASSES
  • 2 CUPS ALL-PURPOSE FLOUR
  • 2 TSP BAKING SODA
  • 1/2 TBSP GROUND GINGER
  • 1 TSP CINNAMON
  • 1/4 TSP NUTMEG
  • 1/2 TSP SALT

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 °F.
  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine sugar and oil; mix well.
  • Add the egg and beat well.
  • Stir in molasses.
  • In a separate bowl, combine dry ingredients.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix well.
  • Using a small cookie scoop portion out cookie balls and roll in sugar.
  • Place 2-inches apart on a lined baking sheet.
  • Bake for 6-8 minutes.
  • Remove to a wire rack to cool.
